Radio Ellin of Canberra , was created in 2019 by Chris Kobas the CEO of the organisation.
After 30 years of producing and announcing various Greek programs on on SSS FM and creator of the first Multi Culture Radio in Canberra and RAI FM Chris’s dream of linking the Greek Community in Canberra was realised.
Times have now changed , people need to connect and be informed with the world , that’s why we created the web RADIO ELLIN
Radio Ellin links via satellite with The Greek Radio Network and top FM radio stations from Greece, as well as internet radio’s outside of Greece.
It includes local content, News , Current Affairs, Health information, talk back programs, soccer matches, and Greek music.
It is the only Greek station in Canberra
broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 day's a week, entertaining people and promoting the culture, language and heritage .
